Our Story

Baraka Rice was launched into the Kenyan market in 2022. It is a brand of Gold Crown Beverages (K) Ltd, a subsidiary of Global Tea & Commodities (K) Ltd, one of Kenya’s largest Black Tea exporters.

Rice popularly known as Mchele in Kenya is currently the third-most important staple cereal in Kenya. Due to population increase, urbanization, and shifting consumer preferences, rice consumption in Kenya is increasing yearly.

We aim to supply, delicious and nutritious rice to our customers so they live a healthy lifestyle. With cutting-edge technology and a good infrastructure that includes storage facilities, delivery is timely. Modern equipment, quality control, packaging, and warehousing facilities are all part of our infrastructure that is designed to meet the demands of our customers. We maintain our goods in hygienic conditions, so we can deliver products on demand.
